Many Local Events for this year have been postponed. So, to help you plan your stay, our Covid information is here.
We have carried out our Risk Assessment for re-opening and will be opening on reduced capacity and asking all guests -
Please use the hand sanitisers provided. These are in the porch (when you enter), by the fridge in the lounge and in the hallway (entering and leaving breakfast room).
We ask all guests, like us, to wash hands on a regular thorough basis, to reduce the possibility of transmission, as does use of the sanitisers.
Upstairs rooms have an Envirovent air input system installed which brings in filtered air from outside. This improves ventilation and air quality. All rooms have opening windows.
Cake is normally available each afternoon in the breakfast room, but this may be left in your own room.
Cleaning of rooms during your stay. We ask you to leave the room tidy when you go out, we will not be moving any items left on the floor. We will empty the bins, freshen the hospitality tray and thoroughly wipe around in the en-suite, door handles and surfaces with anti-bacterial, anti-viral cleaner.
Breakfast – Depending on number of guests, breakfast may be served in the dining room (please use sanitiser on entering the room) or, if you prefer, a tray left outside your bedroom. We will have chatted about this when you arrived.
Payment of your balance – On arrival, payment will be taken from your card that you used to pay your deposit, so that you do not need to touch the card payment machine. We will let you know when this has been done.
As per Government guidelines, if you have been suffering from symptoms of Covid-19 within 2 weeks of your stay here, or develop symptoms during your stay, we must ask you to leave our shared accommodation and return home to isolate. This also applies if you receive a Track and Trace call. We will not be able to refund payment, this is for your safety, other guests and ourselves.
We normally offer to hang wet outerwear out of guests’ rooms, but may we ask you to use a coat hanger from your wardrobe to hang items in your shower.
It’s your choice – wear a face covering or not. We want you to feel safe while you enjoy your stay.
